WELCOME TO THE LAVILLA VISUAL ARTS AUDITIONS

WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING ONLINE AUDITIONS FOR VISUAL ARTS THIS YEAR. 

Please read the following information before starting application.

Feeder school students (MLK, Fishweir, and Pine Forrest) DO NOT need to complete an online audition.  Feeder school auditions will happen at the students' current school on January 19th and 20th.

All other students applying must complete the online audition by January 23rd.  You must complete and pass the online audition in order attend to the in-house auditions.

PART 1:

Online Audition 

​

All students wishing to enter LaVilla next year for Visual Arts will begin their audition online.  You should have already completed the LaVilla application letting us know you wish to audition for Visual Arts.   

The Online Visual Arts Audition will open on 12/16/22.  Instructions and application will be available on this site on that date.

If you pass the Online Audition, you will need to attend the In-House Audition in order to complete the audition process. You will be assigned a date to come for this part of the audition. The In-House audition involves coming on campus to complete at a still life drawing under observation at the LaVilla Art Studios.

If you do not pass the Online Audition for Visual Art, you may still audition for other art areas at LaVilla but will not be accepted for Visual Arts.

PART 2:

IN-HOUSE AUDITIONS

​

You must pass this Online Audition to be invited to the In-House Audition.  If you do not pass the Online Audition, you will not be admitted to the In-House audition. Students who did not complete or failed the Online Audition, but still come to the In-House Audition, will be directed to take the Band Aptitude Test.

Times, directions, and drop-off/pick-up locations will be sent via email once your online submissions and application are approved.
